Penrith Mountain Rescue Team manpower and skills are available 24 hrs a day, 365 days per year by volunteers from all walks of life. To join the team it is anticipated that prospective members have considerable experience in mountaineering and, usually, a recognised qualification in first aid. Following a probationary period (normally one year), during which, extensive training is provided, successful candidates become full Team Members.
