The Team

 

Penrith Mountain Rescue Team manpower and skills are available 24 hrs a day, 365 days per year by volunteers from all walks of life. There are currently 40 team members.

To join the team it is anticipated that prospective members have considerable experience in mountaineering and, usually, a recognised qualification in first aid. Following a probationary period (normally one year), during which, extensive training is provided, successful candidates become full Team Members.
